Redwood National Park was named for its Coastal Redwoods Forest that that has the tallest and the most impressive trees(Redwood) on the earth, and in fact, this National Park was established to save these trees as they were being destroyed rapidly. With an area of 131,982 acres, this park has three large river systems. It is always a very breathtaking experience to visit the Redwood Forest while it is fully covered by morning fog. Spring and fall are the ideal seasons to visit this park.
