Lava Android 4.2 Jelly Bean tablet coming in May for Rs 10,000





Lava Mobile will launch a a WiFi only tablet under its Etab series with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. To lure a large number of budget-conscious users, the device will be sold with sub-Rs 10,000 price tag.

The 7 inch IPS display bearing tablet will run on the latest version of Android operating system and will be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM. It will have an 8GB of internal storage (expandable), a 2 megapixel rear camera, a VGA front camera and an HDMI port. It will have a 3,700 mAh battery.

The tablet will come with a 7 inch display and will run the latest version of Android operating system. As per the details available, the tablet will be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM.

The device will sport dual cameras: a 2MP front camera and a VGA secondary camera. Connectivity options will include Wi-Fi and an HDMI port. The device will have a battery life of 3,700mAh which is enough to get you going through the day. There is suspense over 3G support, but the presence of optional data connectivity via 3G data dongles could be expected.

The manufacturer says the Lava Etab Xtron will cost below Rs 10,000 category.
