Location: Idaho, Montana and Wyoming
Declared as National Park on 1st March 1872

Yellow Stone National Park

Yellow Stone National Park was the first ever National Park in the world. With 2,219,790 acres of area, this park has lots of geothermal locations i-e geysers, in fact, the park was established to protect these geysers. Most famous of them is Old Faithful Geyser. The Park also has hundreds of lakes, mountains, canyons and rivers. This Park was inhabited by the Native Americans about a 5,000 years ago. The Park is also home to many species of Mammals.
